Na Pali Coast boat tours
Every boat sees the same cliffs. The real choice is raft or catamaran, west side or Hanalei, and whether you want sea caves, snorkeling or dinner.
Quick picks: for sea caves, the Na Pali Riders raft. For comfort and food, Holo Holo’s snorkel sail. For the north shore in summer, the Hanalei catamaran.

Raft or catamaran?
Rafts are fast, low to the water and can nose into sea caves. They are also bumpy, with little room to move around. Catamarans are smoother and roomier, and most include food and drinks. If anyone in your group has back problems or is pregnant, pick a catamaran.
Morning or afternoon?
Morning. Trade winds pick up in the afternoon, which makes the water rougher. Sunset cruises are the exception: you trade calm water for the light.
